Rules for our trade fairs

Every exhibitor has to accept the rules stipulated in this document and in the terms and conditions of our trade fairs, which can be obtained on written demand at our office in Manduel. We do not accept any copies or reproductions on our trade fairs. The exhibitors accept to adopt certain rules of behaviour to make sure that the exhibition passes without incident. Anyone who does not accept these rules risks to be excluded immediately from the exhibition.
If necessary, stalls can be modified by the organization without previous information for the exhibitors concerned by this modifications.
Unpacking begins at 8 a.m. sharp when a signal will sound to guarantee that the conditions for selling and buying are the same for everybody.
Exterior and "Terrasse Marchande" (at Montpellier) : Vehicles are allowed to enter the evening before the exhibition between 6.00 p.m. and 8.00 p.m. and the morning of the exhibition between 5.00 a.m. and 6.30 a.m. The only person allowed to stay in the vehicle to park it on the stall is the driver.
Interior : Vehicles are allowed to enter the evening before the exhibition between 6.00 p.m. and 8.00 p.m. and the morning of the exhibition between 5.00 a.m. and 6.30 a.m. The only person allowed to stay in the vehicle to park it on the stall is the driver. Exhibitors unpacking at the interior need to have for every vehicle :
     - An unexpired ABC 6 kg dry powder fire extinguisher with test certificate and ready to be used immediately
     - A fuel tank equipped with a lockable cap.
     - For our exhibition ion Lille : the battery terminals have to be shielded in such a way to render them inaccessible.
LPG vehicles are forbidden at the interior.
Vehicles must be locked. It is forbidden to take out any goods before 8.00 a.m. the day of unpacking.
The driver must return to the exit after having parked his vehicle on the stall. Nobody is allowed to re-renter before the beginning of the trade fair at 8.00 a.m.
Every stall not occupied by the exhibitor at 6.30 a.m. the day of unpacking is considered to be empty and the organization can rent it to somebody else. In this case, the exhibitor will not get his money back
Only demands accompanied by a payment will be taken into consideration. The organization has the right to accept or to refuse any demand without explaining the reasons.
Exhibitors who pay with foreign cheques will have to pay the bank fees caused by these cheques.

No- show or annulations - In case of annulations less than two weeks before the exhibition, the price of the stall has to be paid entirely; in case of annulations more than two weeks before the exhibition, 50% of the price has to be paid; the amount of this payment is at least 90 €. The exhibitor may subscribe, on his own initiative, an assurance covering the risks of non-participation caused by health problems, weather conditions, accidents…

Exhibitors have to use their stalls without encroaching outside the allotted area on the alleys or the neighbouring stalls with their vehicle or their goods. The coloured entry permit with the number of the stall on it has to be put on the vehicle at a place where it can be seen from the alley.
Wrong declarations concerning the description or the loading space of the vehicles used for the exhibition - non-conformity with the reservation form or the table of volumes admitted on the stalls - will lead to the exclusion of the exhibitor and the loss of the amount he has paid for reservation.
Stalls have to be used only by the person who signed this reservation form. It is forbidden to sublet the stall or to share it with somebody else.
It is forbidden to put anything on the walls. All damage caused eventually to the exhibition area or to its technical facilities has to be repaired by the exhibitor.
In case of accidents or any other event which causes damages at the installations of the exhibition area, the person who is renting the stall is responsible and has to take on the juridical or financial consequences.
No goods belonging to an exhibitor or any other trader have to be entered from the outside of the exhibition area before or during the fair. The exhibitors have to prove the provenience of any of the articles sold, for example by the inscription on a police list (if it is a private person who has sold the article), an invoice of an antiques dealer or an auction room.
The seller is responsible for the goods which have been sold on our trade fair until the moment when they are picked up by the purchaser, his duly appointed agent or his carrier (exchange of the articles against a receipt proving that they have been taken).
Attention : It is forbidden - without any exception - to drive vehicles inside the exhibition area during the opening hours. Anybody who does not respect this rule can be expulsed and has to face further persecution.
Every exhibitor, when he is reserving a stall, has to read and respect the terms and conditions accompanying the coloured entry permit and the invoice which he will receive before the exhibition.
Every vehicle has to be controlled to make sure that it does not represent any danger for the persons and goods on the exhibition area (for vehicles older than 4 years the documents of the last technical check-up have to be available).
Every exhibitor has to show, before taking reservation, a written professional proof of less than three months.
Every exhibitor undertakes to be covered by a vehicle insurance for the vehicle he is using during the exhibition area and a valid professional civil liability insurance. The organization may require these papers during the exhibition.
The reservation form has to be signed and sent to our office. If the rent for the stall has been paid, but we do not have any reservation form with his signature, the exhibitor accepts automatically the rules of this regulation form.
