RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR EXHIBITORS
As
an exhibitor at our fair at Montpellier on 03 February 2009 you are required to comply with a number of rules essential to
the proper functioning of this International Antiques and Collectibles
One-day Trade Fair.
1.
As you approach the site blue arrows on a yellow background, bearing
the logo, will help you find your way.
2. Exhibits may be brought in on Monday and Tuesday by Gate 4
at the back of the Park. You should join the "" queue
to get into the park.
3. If you do not have your entry pass you may park in the short-term
parking area on the right and go to the secretariat in the ALGECO
unit to collect your file.
4. If you wish to transfer goods from one vehicle to another you
must tell a member of our organisation, who will find you a space
in an area intended for this purpose, inside the park and out
of view of potential buyers.
5. You may enter the park to take up your position either on Monday
between 5.00 a.m. and 8.00 p.m. or on Tuesday between 5.00 a.m.
and 6.45 a.m. Once on the site you must fix your entry permit
in a side window of the vehicle, place your fire extinguisher
in view on the seat (interior exhibitors) and lock your vehicle.
You must then leave quickly. NO PERSONS ARE TO REMAIN IN THE
PARK. After 7.00 a.m. no vehicle may enter and the gates will
be locked by exhibition centre staff.
6. All exhibitors who have rented one or more positions inside
the building must:
- have in their possession a currently valid 6 kg powder extinguisher
with inspection certificate, and be fully familiar with its use
- ensure their vehicles are fitted with a locking fuel cap and
that battery terminals are enclosed and inaccessible
7. All positions rented are 20 m2 units or multiples thereof;
boundaries are indicated by marks on the floor with a stand number.
8. At 8.00 a.m. precisely a signal will be sounded and the fair
will begin. You must take care when unloading your stock not to
overlap the boundaries of your stand. This is most important.
You must also ensure that access to the fire extinguishing equipment
in the hall, such as charged fire hydrants and extinguishers,
is not obstructed.
9. Before unloading place your fire extinguisher in a visible
and easily accessible position next to your vehicle.
10. All stock sold must remain on your stand or be taken away
by the buyer or his duly authorised agent (carrier). Under no
circumstances may it be allowed to overflow onto the gangways.
11. Throughout the fair the "accès camions" (truck
entrances) of the buildings will remain open and the smaller "accès
piétons" (pedestrian entrances) will be unlocked.
12. At the end of the fair, you will be able to repack your goods
into your vehicle and exit freely without formality.

to him.
